they're not commies or socialists, they don't want to own the means of production (aside from banks anyway). there's a name for an economic system where the government calls the shots for businesses and tells them what to do(like what cars to produce), has an 'industrial policy' (cap and trade), restrictions on profits (just take a look at oil companies), is against individuality, high taxes and wealth redistribution, for a high minimum wage, etc. it's called fascism.

the funniest part of this is the idea of cap and trade, even setting aside from increasing american's energy costs by a grand a year. if we don't produce it here it'll get produced somewhere like china, which pollutes more than us. cap and trade would lead to more pollution but it would make some on the left feel good about themselves, and it'd make us poorer as a country.

The thing is, Gore and all of these other corporations are making a tremendous amount of money on this. The taxpayer subsidizes a lot of these policies too..these corporation are making money off our taxes. A ton of money. And in my opinion, this is a crime. Meanwhile, the myth of these "corrupt fat cat conservatives" leaves most dumbfounded.

At this point, even if global warming were proved false, the legislation that the Global Warming Hysteria has created would be totally irreversible. The liberals are racing against time to do that. Obama is racing against his approval rating.

Because it's summer, it happens every single year. Plus it was following a period in which the bottom fell out of the energy market. Last summer gas (and oil) was at a record high. Even trying to pull tis one is evidence of your utter preposterousness.
