UK then France, The UK has a big advantage strategically as it is an island and is much harder to invade and can control trade going into western Europe but that is only if the Royal Navy is maintained to a reasonable level, The Germans have a great industrial base and have big potential.

Its between Germany and The UK, however the UK has had over a decade of Labour so i'd be surprised if there are more than a couple of rusty old pistols left in the armoury.

The Germans have huge potential with their large industrial base, but that doesn't mean much in a war right this minute. The size of their military is restricted, and they'd be fighting on several fronts which makes them extremely vulnerable. Also, their huge industrial base would be rendered useless almost immediately by Royal Navy based cruise missiles. The UK's navy makes it almost untouchable by today's standards, so they get my vote.

The only thing powerful about Russia is its nuclear weapons. Its soliders are rubbish, ill trained and subject to abuse by superiors. Bullying in the Russian armed forces is appalling. Its tanks and weapons are dated. In terms of military technology, it is way behind the West.

In terms of Western Europe; Germany is Europe biggest single economy.

Militarily, the UK would beat any European country. We have experience in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Falklands. Germany has little military experience since WWII.

The French are surrender monkeys.

Again, in a nuclear war, Russia would wipe out Western Europe, but excluding Nuclear weapons, the UK comes up on top.
