  • 2008-2009 NBA Champions Houston Rockets

This is the official 2008-2009 Houston Rockets Thread.

As you may or may not know the Rockets finally aquired a third star in Ron Artest. Now they are ready to win a Title or get out the first round at least

Anyways along with Artest they also got some other key players to add depth to the bench like Joey Dorsey who is a big hog in the paint and veteran Brent Barry

    Projected Starting Five
    Yao Ming
    Luis Scola
    Ron Artest
    Tracy Mcgrady
    Rafer Alston

    Key players of the bench
Shane Battier, Brent Barry, Chuck Hayes, Aaron Brooks.

This team is going to be stacked as hell along with Steve Francis, Luther Head, and Carl Landry

Lakers , Jazz , Spurs and Hornets all have a legit chance to make the nba finals this year.

Rockets have NO chance at all.

either Yao or Tracy or maybe even both will get hurt.

Bulls will sneak up on all y'all.

Your teams got the talent. The Bullls got the grit and determination

Bulls 60-22 this year and another trophy to add to their trophies in the glory years of the 90s.

        GO BULLS

Oh you mean Kobe's father, Michael Osaka Jordan.

hey Tua call the Dodgers and tell them to throw the game.

Can't people just let the Cubs win once?

            I mean it's been 100 years.

poor cubs. maybe if l.a. has won recently but we've been in a drought too.

                  spurs will still be there.

jazz and hornets are young and still improving.

sorry bro. unless yao and tracy can find a way to not get hurt......

if those guys miss time and the rockets can't get homecourt i don't see them getting past the 1st round.

tough for them to win in l.a. , san antonio , salt lake and new orleans......

all those 4 teams have bitter tastes in their mouths from last year and are really motivated.

l.a. losing in the finals to the celts...... spurs losing to the hated lakers...... new orleans letting one slip away...... utah all not performing well against the lakers......

all 4 have something to prove this year. houston still has to adjust to ron in the lineup.

I'm telling you, Tua. Don't sleep on that Rockets team. If T-Mac and Yao can stay healthy, BIG IF, I'd put them up against ANYBODY with the Artest pick up.
