Lou DiBella doesn't envision putting the Amanda Serrano-Katie Taylor fight back together anytime soon, but he hasn't given up entirely on one of women's boxing's biggest bouts. Serrano and Taylor were supposed to fight for Taylor's four lightweight titles August 22, but Serrano declined to take the bout on its rescheduled date. DiBella, who promotes Serrano, thinks there are such hard feelings from their fight falling apart that he doesn't expect to revisit it with Eddie Hearn, Taylor's promoter, before Taylor pursues other options.

I hope Serrano never gets the fight. Act like an idiot and lose a big fight. The same fate awaits Teofimo Lopez. Arum and Lomachenko shouldn't give into him just like Hearn and Taylor should lock Serrano out.

Fighters who like screaming the names of real champions but ducking the fight when it is available shouldn't be rewarded.

Something odd going on with Serrano's management and promoter. I was really looking forward to that fight, but the whole thing seemed weird from both ends with Lou and Eddie. I seriously doubt Taylor beats Persoon and Braekhus. Highly doubtful. Katie seems a wee bit overrated to my eye.

It's kind of funny with Taylor she has one ropey performance and now apparently she can't beat anyone lol.

Looking forward to the Persoon rematch and I think she will compete with brakehaus who is almost 40

There's a difference between not being able to beat anyone and not being able to beat Braekhus or Persoon.

Persoon beat the hell out of Taylor the first time, no doubt about that. Doesn't mean the result will be the same the second time but Persoon should be favored. She won 7 rounds in that fight cleanly.

Even at her age, Braekhus is a problem for anyone in women's boxing. She has good range, excellent footwork, excellent timing, excellent technique, a great chin, a great gas tank, and all the smarts and experience she needs.

Taylor doesn't do anything better than Braekhus does is her problem. She's smaller, slower, less experienced, less technical.
