does anyone know what he looking for? it's a feint most of the time as I've never seen him jab the body when he changes levels.

could one of you explain what type of information he receives when he changes levels/ducks and what types of punches he can set up with that?!

Part of me wants to forgive her but, I can't look past the part of her giving my dog away to a stranger .

He measures his distance and placement for gis defense and to keep his opponent off rhythm. It's a thing of beauty really. he takes the first round or two adjusting his movements based on how you react to his feint and side steps. Once he's confident he has you figured out then he throws half ass punches to measure his distance for his offense

I'm not real sure because I wasn't ever taught points boxing I was taught KO boxing.

From my perspective you don't anticipate their reaction. You study it first and log it. Once you have their MO then you anticipate. If points boxers are working for the same theory then I'd reckon no specific reaction just gauging reactions. I mean I always had but that is just assumption on my part really.

What is the "feeling out process" if not early gauges of reaction usually so early the fighters are still posturing and positioning and not really punching yet?

He's just giving his opponents a stimulus and seeing how they react to it while he forms theories and adapts to changes.
