At the end of the day, it's not accounting for much, because matthysse knocked him out.

But if Golovkin knocked out Canelo in the 12th round, woud it have erased Byrds bad scorecard?

If it was Kirams plan all along to push the pace in the second half of the fight, he could have went on and win every rounds from 8-12 and would still only get a draw on one scorecard.

So not a big impact on the result, but it's still attempted robbery.

I have to agree. I'm not a Matt fan and felt the KO was basically the other guy quitting but let's be honest, he was 3, maybe even more rounds up. To reverse that deficit is beyond me.
