  • Why did Roc Nation drop Ward after Ward became #1P4P?

They payed him 5 and 6.5 millions. He's the #1 P4P fighter in the world, and they won't want to work with him anymore? doesn't make sense. Specially after they lost money on him. Which can be seen as an investment. Now they are gonna go out after they invested in him like that?

They couldn't afford him any longer : his stock exploded after the whooping he handed Kovalev, it was so bad boxingscene totally dropped tha 'Can-Krusher' off their P4P! who does that to another P4P fighter?! only S.O.G -- but you know Dre. is the elite of the elite so only la crème de la crème brands such as Jordan and Nike can yield his rate from this point forward.

Didn't Ward just say like two days ago that he is still with Roc Nation just not locked into HBO anymore?

He's still with Roc Nation. He's done with HBO. Too bad you can't erase that one.

Ward has this miraculous ability to make promoters and networks pay him millons of $$$ for fights no-one wants to see, and refs and judges see what he wants them to see, not what happens.

Maybe he is the SOG .. or maybe he's a really great hypnotist.

The rumor is that Roc Nation may be out of boxing soon. They have lost many millions on Ward. Their financial decisions in regards to Ward are some of the dumbest business moves I've ever seen. That is not an "investment." There is no potential for them to ever make a profit, paying Ward those obscene purses. But good for Ward and Prince I guess for taking advantage of their idiocy.
