Both are annoying. Gus Johnson reminds me of a junior high kid who just discovered his love for boxing and won't shut up about some new fact he learned on wiki or boxrec. He's like Brushmyhair on commentary without the slight Korean accent.

Ranallo is clearly the more knowledgeable one between the two, but his corny one-liners and random pop culture and hip hop references are pretty cringeworthy. He just comes off as a try hard.

Overall, I would still take both over Lampley these days.

Same, Mauro doesnt bother me at all. I like the guy he is not annoying to me. I dont get how anyone thinks he is annoying, I probably think he is the least annoying of all of them.

People probably just hate his voice? he has a great voice like an old school ring commentator from the 40s.

I gained more appreciation for Mauro after learning about him, he is a hustler selfmade man, he trained himself to announce at an early age worked since he was at teen in pro wrestling announcing, went to MMA and now boxing, plus he does his homework he studies and learns about the fighters.

dude is one of the hardest working dudes in combative sports, plus he is now working with WWE dudes living his dream, a real inspiration he had a dream and achieved it.
