I love Matthysse and Maidana's attitudes. They're easy going, keep quiet, but get the job done. When prompted, they have a fire in them that they let shine. I remember the Maidana quote from All-Access and thought it was terrific.

"I've always been brought in to lose.

I've stepped into the cage with lions. He still hasn't fought a man."

I talk about it all the time on here. I like them all. IDK why everyone feels like all these guys have to act the same way. Thats what makes boxing great. All the different characters and personalities. I dont want them to be alike. It helps the build up and the fights itself

Ones who mean and do what they they're gonna do. And occasional trash talking.

I just want a fighter to be himself. guys like james toney & Tyson fury are loudmouths but the stuff that flows from their mouths is hilarious & is unscripted. carl froch is the perfect villain. gorgeous wife, arrogant & he will tell you how great he is. he is the guy everyone loves to hate but then there are the nice guys like kali Meehan & francois botha who are always respectful & gracious winning or losing... the guys I can't stand are fighters like deontay wilder. not from a personal stand point because I don't know him at that level but you can tell he practices his post fight raps & rants in the mirror. he premeditates everything because he is trying way to hard to get noticed. when he talks it's in rhymes & sounds like a scripted wresting rant. 1,2,3 spin is in his head. I don't know why but I think his persona should be like Meehan & botha. that team guy that deflects the credit to his handlers & thanks the network for the opportunity, etc... just be yourself.

clown, you think all I know is Floyd? Im involved in boxing, know a ton of people in the sport, go to a bunch of local fights and big fights. 99% of it has nothing to do with Floyd. I went to Canelo-Trout, Zab-Garcia, Rigo-Donaire, Khan-Peterson, etc. I have known guys numbers on my phones. Guys that dont have nothing to do with Floyd or even like Floyd. Ive met a ton of known guys in the sport and have been interviewed by guys like Elie and so on. Talk what you know.

Did I rustle your jimmies? I didn't need to know your entire boxing resume.

C'mon. WE ALL KNOW you love you some Floyd. And we all know, your post was a defense mechanism for inevitable Floyd bashing.

                C'mon man......

Laid back but confident. People that aren't going to brag a ton but aren't afraid to speak up when someone else is talking to them or about them. People who give it their all in the ring and try to represent themselves well out of it in addition to in it.
