  • Ive improved alot.

I have been trainin forever but since I was training myself I never learned certain things. In January of this year I weighed 297 pounds, I never actually sparred in a gym, I didnt know how to hit the speed bag at all, and I couldnt jump rope AT ALL, not even three consecutive jumps. I didnt really talk to anybody at the gym, just went and worked and left.

Its now April and I weigh 255 pounds without even dieting. Ive sparred 4 differant people including a pro boxer, a pro MMA fighter, and an amateur champion. The speed bag is easy now, before I had no clue, now I can go faster than most the people at the gym. ONe handed, several hits each hand, left right left right continously, all smoothly transitioned without stopping. People watch me on it sometimes, when I hit it I have y back to the ring and I like turning my head to watch the ring while Im poundin the speed bag FAST ,without even looking, Mayweather style. Jumpin rope is fun now, I can go REAL ****in fast, forward and backward, I can move around forward back side ways whichever while doin it, spin in circles, skip, and now I finally just tonight I was running in place while doin it. Ive been tryin to do that for awhile now and tonight it clicked for some reason . Alot of people at the gym have been comin up to me and givin me props and workin with me on stuff like the medicine ball, a trainer and the owner think Im ready to compete, I almost fought on April 14 but will probably be fightin as soon as I get to 200.

and ALL this by myself with no trainer. No team, no support, just me. Im proud of myself damnit.

Sounds like you have put in a great effort. Good work

Keep that up. I have been doing the same thing and I have improved alot only in a couple of months.

You should be proud of yourself.
(and it's ok to boast from time to time)

    Keep it up.

Terrance Jett is 2-6 as a pro boxer. Carlos Fletas is 2-0 as a pro in MMA. Im not sure what the amatuer guys name is, Alfaro something. Its the Las Vegas Boxing Gym in obviously Las Vegas. Friday Ahunanya trains here ( I want to spar him one day), Diego Corrales was training here, Merqui Sosa and Kelcie Banks train fighters here.

and yeah all me. I go to the gym on my days off and after work, I practiced the speed bag till I figured it out then kept doing it everyday until I got good. I would jump rope for a half hour everyday and I was horrible, like two jumps then the rope would hit my foot, eventually I figured the timing out and now its not that hard. I drive my self to the gym, I train by myself, I taught myself, I bought all my own equipment, I put the time in. I havent really gotten any support from family or freinds. I dont have a trainer.

IM the one in the school yard at night by myself in the wind hitting the tire with a sledge hammer, IM the one goin to the boxing gym, 24 fitness. No ones tellin me to do any of this, I do it on my own.

thanks man, Now I realize how much fat I actually have on me and I think I can make it even lower. Maybe 175!!! its comin off too easy. Ive been eatin hella pizza and taco bell and havent really watched what I eat. When I actually go back to my old, water juice and salad diet I should drop below 200.
