I immediately thought of Mayweather-Mosley as well after the first round. If Haney is smart and boxes while leaning on his jab, he keeps Garcia at bay and coasts to a decision. You're right but in the grand scheme of things no one will care. A win is a win. The casual fan doesn't look back on Mayweather/Marquez as "weight cheating." Haney has always had a weak chin and he always will. He let Garcia turn it into a brawl when he had it completely under control and...

Plenty of fighters act like a clown. It's called promoting the fight.
Mayweather came in heavy versus Marquez on purpose as well. It's called strategy.
I wanted to see Haney win tonight but Ryan rolled the dice and it paid off.
