Ive been sitting out due to a wrist injury a few weeks back when doing some mitt work. I went back yesterday and by the end of the session my wrist starting hurting somewhat. I'm thinking it might because I'm not throwing my left hooks correctly or I'm not wrapping them right. I have the stretchy 180mexican wraps and I constantly have to be readjusting and rewrapping them because they become loose.
I need some advice from you experience folks. Am I using the right wraps or just wrapping wrong, or wrong wraps wrapping correctly? I start a wrap around the wrist and wrap them 3x, then to the knuckles 3, back to the wrist once then around the thumb, back to the wrist. Then from the thumb through all my fingers, then around the knuckles once, and then i have enough slack to cover my wrist about a few times.
I have never had problems with my right wrist, its only the left. I am orthodox so that may be an issue I'm thinking.
Thanks
