  • Starting a compound lifting routine

    After always seeing the weights vs no weights debates ive decided im going to try a general compound lifting routine to see how it affects my boxing performance. Just to give a heads up of what it consists of;

    (Rippetoe program)
    Workout A
    3x5 Squat
    3x5 Bench Press
    1x5 Deadlift

    Workout B
    3x5 Squat
    3x5 Standing Military press
    3x5 Power Cleans

    Week 1 Mon A / Wed B / Fri A
    Week 2 Mon B / Wed A / Fri B

    Im going to run this for ~10 weeks along with my regular training and ill update to let you guys know if i have any noticeable changes/improvements.
