Digestion and drinking after a meal

I know it takes approximately 5-6 hours for the food to complete its digestion in the stomach , but it still has to get through the intestines , which I have no clue about its speed of digestion.
So after you finish eating , how much time do you have to wait until you can drink ? because the water push the food down , lowering stomach acidity , speeding the flushing down of the still not fully digested food through the stomach and intestines .
Whenever I used the word 'drink' here it was only meant for water.
