I mean I know it is to some extent cardio, but if its raining out could it be a substitute for running? If I wanted to used that as a sub somedays how many sets would I have to do, going up how many stairs, with how much weight.....right now I used 10lb ankle weights on each leg while holding 30lb dumbells. I go up and down 14 stairs 7-9 times and do this for 5 sets, with 1 minute rest between sets.
I get a pretty good sweat going but if its not as good as running for 3 miles I would rather suck it up and go out in the rain and run.
