    Calzaghe to lose IBF belt

Joe is set to lose the IBF belt if he doesn't fight Robert Stieglitz by December. Which is unlikely since he defended his titles last month and HBO want him to fight an american.

Whats tha point in even trying to unify titles when tha governing bodies insist on tha champion fighting these unproven boxers. i don't know **** about Stieglitz...he could be ****in amazing for all i know, but who has he beaten to warrant a title shot...isn't that how rankings should work?

On the other hand, Manfredo is even less deserving so i guess joe can't complain.

its a true point about having to defend against unproven challengers, but at the same time, calzaghe goes and fights another unproven fighter in sakio bika!!...

its not the first time calzaghe has had two belts, and he's not the kind of fighter who really cares about belts, but rather about status......not to mention that he can't fight that regular due to his brittle hands.

true, but at least bika had been in with a top ten fighter before in Beyer. i will be annoyed if he faces manfredo next rather than someone genuinely world class...

btw, when did joe ever have two belts before? i thought he just won the wbo and defended it for 27.3456 years.
