Do the people in the Philippines know exactly how good Pac's opposition is?

For instance, do they know the difference between a fighting legend like Morales over somebody like Juan the cab driver?

FOr example Vargas and De La Hoya are both Mexican American, but Vargas ia accepted by hardcore mexican fans because of the way he fights.

the phillipinos like Pacquiao because he is phillipino, and they think he is the best. They think hes better than anybody and on the "countdown" the philipinos are saying stuff like he can move up to heavyweight and fight. They are delusional. They think they are better than mexicans now because Manny beat a past his prime fighter. They couldnt care less how manny fights, he is the only one they have and they think he is superman.
You're the one who's delusional if you think you know how all the filipinos think or feel. Stop generalizing because this is not about mexicans vs filipinos, its about two great warriors plain and simple.

I cant speak for every other Filipino but sure I would be disappointed but thats because I am rooting for him to win every time he gets in that right 100%, so I dont think we would shame him if he loses we would be disappointed but if he fights the way he fights, that is with all his heart and go all out, then why be hard on him? besides I dont see him losing anytime soon lol

i think some mexicans did accepted the reality now.

there was even this news report of a proud mexican watching inside a bar in the philippines earlier. he almost got into a brawl with some fans inside. but when the results came, he graciously accepted defeat and congratulated manny pacquiao in front of national television. he also made amends with the fans inside the bar.

i think thats a cool act.

it is only posters here like xcaret and ferocity who really gives mexicans a bad image.

yup, i agree. mexican boxers shows sportsmanship after the fight. i give credit to morales, a very humble & highly respected fighter. only in this site (IMO), that mexicans & filipinos always flame each other....too sad.
