Respect for Erik "El Terrible" Morales

The man has given a lot to boxing.

He's not a dirty fighter. He doesn't show off in the ring. He has never had one boring round in his entire career. Not one.

Anyone who makes fun of Morales, is disrespecting the sport of boxing. If American's had Ali as their boxing icon, Mexico has Erik Morales.

He is highly regarded by all nations who have boxing as a major sport. Even the Philippines, before Manny Pacquiao became popular, knew who Erik Morales was.

Tonight, I've been reading some rather disrespectful posts about Morales. I'm sad for you because you have no clue about how illustrious his career has been. He made boxing exciting. He's been in several classic brawls that will be viewed over and over again several years from now. He will be compared to fighters who aren't even born yet. Erik Morales has been one of the greatest assets to the sport of boxing.

If you can't respect him, then you need to be banned from this site.
