I doubt Manny himself even has anything to do with this. It's all taken care of by his managers and trainers

yeah probably Shelly " kiss of death " Finkel.

the thing i don't understand is that now some of the big fights we want to see Pac in are now in jeopordy. the fued between the two promoters is going to keep **** from being made. at least from speculation at this point, but that seems to be the reality of it all.

You make a good point but I disagree with you.

He is guaranteed a shot at the WBC title in his next fight and nothing his promoter (GBP or TR) say would change that fact. The WBC already ruled that the Pac-Morales fight was the final eliminator for the mandatory position. So, in essence, he was already guaranteed a shot at Barrera. If he didn't agree to terms with GB, he could always demand a purse bid and another promoter could've won the rights (and GB wasn't going to let that happen so they'd give him a fair shake deal against Barrera).

I just think that he had better fights had he signed with GB (like JMM rematch). The money is in the Barrera fight, tho.

manny is the biggest draw in his weight class IMO. jmm vs barera will do decent numbers but nothing more. if gbp wants to amke maoney he should work with top rank. but i would wanted to see manny with gbp though
