Arnaoutis simply lost because of inactivity during those last two rounds...........i bet he didn't win the 11th and 12th of all of the judges cards as he simply did nothing........i was watching and trying to count how many times he actually hit Torres in those rounds, and the number were single digits.....................and it seemed the judges were favouring the aggressor, so he has himself to blame.

the 140lb division all of a sudden is as weak as ever with four paper titlists all winning vacant belts............and how interesting that hatton is moving back down!!!...

Torres looked like crap, Mike is the better fighter.
      Torres has no chin, either.

exactly, arnaoutis showed too much respect, i don't blame him for being cautious, but you gotta test the waters though ya know, especially for the belt.

lesson learned i bet arnaoutis will be more aggressive and assertive next time, it cost him dearly, his undefeated record and the belt.

Torres has a good enough chin, but his style leads to himg etting caught sometimes, as wth many punchers.

Arnoutis is not the better fighter. He lost because he ran away too much.

Torres has heart. Yea this decsion was very controversial.. But Mike should have done more.. He could have ended the fight in the 7th. Torres didn't look that good at the fact that Mike was a southpaw. I bet he will look better against a conventional fighter.

I would have given the fight to Mike but it was close, the HBO cheerleaders were on Mike's nuts all night. Torres did hit Mike with some solid shots...

Light Welter is wide open for hatton to clean up now. Junior Witter is probably the strongest titlist at the moment, and i doubt he could beat Hatton. Torres is a real lame duck "Champion" and I'd probably rather Hatton went after Witter.

Of course hatton could always lose against Urango. It would be th upset of the year though.
Castillo will KO Hatton middle rounds, it will look easy. Hell Hatton needs to worry about this Urango guy first.

It looked like Arnaoutis was ****ting himself. Look at the way he fought after the knockdown; he was touching gloves with Torres at every possible opportunity as if he was apologizing for knocking him down.

I thought Arnaoutis was the better boxer, not the better fighter.

It was an arrogant performance and one that, in my opinion at least, did not warrant a win.

Arnaoutis should be kicking himself after this.

Ricardo Torres looked uncomfortable. I think with the right manager and trainer, Torres could be a great success. ALthough he is 30-1 he has the experience of a 15 fight fighter. Emmanuel steward once said (refering to Joel Julio at the time) "fighters from columbia may have as many fights as some of the champions out there, but their experience is about half that". Ricardo Torres stated in his interview "that was my first fight against a southpaw". At 31 fights he should have had more fights with different types of fighters. This is an example of bad management.

He has great potential, but he needs to be managed carefully in order to develop him into a true champion. He does not have the experience to beat fighters like Hatton or even Urango, Clottey, Quintana or any of the top contenders.

Torres wasn't the same fighter who faced Cotto, his power and speed wasn't all there plus he started fading after the third. He did get up from a nasty hook, kudos for that. Mighty Mike could've had him, but just didn't have the heart to press on Torres more. I think Paulie, Witter or Corley will take Torres out.
