boxing needs to take another direction:
Fighters should really form together to decide where to go....it's cool that Boxers are like Independent hired guns, but the old ways aren't working...they need to see if they can get fighs on National Television...even if a top name fighter is fighting a C level fighter, it is better than nothing...they should also try doing something with ESPN, like I have said so many times before...ESPN has more people watching their channels than HBO or Showtime and if it is good enough for the NFL, it should be good enough for boxers.
I would also like to see them go back to the smaller gloves: I read that at 147 now that they are wearing 10 oz, instead of 8 oz, that is not good for entertaining. Nobody wants to see a sparing match. Knockouts, that is what people want.
