Ruiz was a lot more active than usual, he only started hugging in the later rounds, this was a lot better fight than Briggs/Liakhovich, that's for sure.

Actually, this is a huge win for Shagaev -- Ruiz is an extremely tough guy to beat, and Shagaev did it very convincingly.

Ruslan isn't it an russian name? I looked at his face and he didn't seemed turkish, maybe chechen. and the name chaga doesn't mean anything in turkish. for example you have names like karaev. kara means black in Turkish and we all know were the ev, ov comes from

Another way to spell his name is Shagaev.

I suppose that this means his name might be of a British origin that was russified with a "ev".
