    Soliman Beats Ornelas, Mundine Next?

Anthony Mundine may get the opponent he is not happy about facing, Sam Soliman. Soliman (33-8, 13KOs) picked up a very close majority decision over Enrique Ornelas (25-3, 15KOs) in a very close battle, on Friday at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, California. The scores were a 95-94 Soliman, 95-94 Soliman and 95-95. [details]

It's Soliman pushing for the fight, I don't think many other people care one way or the other.

Dare you to fight Sam, abdeil

Sam's well known for his 'awkward boxing manner' (Mundine's words) and uses it to his benefit. Watch Sam and Mundine's fight then notice Mundine's parrying to cope with Sam's southpaw/street moves.
And besides, would you say this to Soliman's face?

I would have been ok with a draw, but if a winner was to be awared a decicion it should have been Ornealis. Orneals won the first parto of the fight and Soliman won the second. But what sealed it for Orneales was the knockdown and the last round, too add the fact that Orneales won the first part of the fight. Solimans did not look impressive, if anybody looked impressive it was Orneales especially in the first part of the fight.

And props to Wayne McCullough, he's done great training Orneales. I remember when Orneales lost on hbo years ago, he didn't look as polised as he did today and had better stamina in this fight but still got a bit fatigued at the middle rounds. But came on strong in the last round. MucCullough seems to be a good trainer or at least hes improved Orneales and he's done good with Andrade.

Ferocity, read my post again. I was talking about the Soliman vs Mundine fight , not Sam's recent match against Ornelas. We didnt get to watch it in Australia but I heard about it.
