Actually, I would enjoy watching VW beat down all of these guys. Especially Toney and Ruiz. I know that is a meaningless post, but so what?

I think VW should fight Briggs right out of the shoot. He would ruin Briggs inside 6 rounds.

Actually, that should read VK. I guess this is also a meaningless post. Oh well.

This is bad for the divison I think There will not be a champion if he comes back because he will not fight his brother. Vitaly will not have a problem with anyone in the division neither will the new versian of little bro. This is not good I repeat not good at all for the division. The only possible derailment is if vit gets injured again. Granted he was considered the best when he was fighting now his brother is he should stay retired and let his little bro be champ.

The brothers always wanted to hold simulataneous world titles. I think it's just too easy for Vitali to walk away from. He gets an immediate shot at Maskaev, so maybe that is why Manny has been talking up a Wlad-Valuev fight lately? How much control over Valuev does King actually have? Isn't he his co-promoter, or co-co-promoter? That fight might be able to be made in Germany, and give Vitali a chance to grab the WBC belt. Then either can fight whoever beats Briggs.

If I were Vitali, I'd skip any warm-up fights. The more training camps, the more chance of injury. One good training camp should get someone as experienced as Vitali ready for someone as limited as Maskaev.

Briggs is really the only HW I can see beating either Klitschko at the moment. Peter is an outside possibility if he continues to develop. And Briggs is only a threat for 10 minutes so long as you don't stand right in front of him.

The division is wide-open, I can't blame him for making a return, if it's true.

Are you inferring that he will massacre Rahman? lol. Well Rahman can put on a good show when challenged (The horrid abominations against Barrett and Toney were due to lack of talent on the opposite ends, at least during those specific fights). Win or lose, the fight needs to happen, at the very least to clear Vitali's name after he alledgedly ducked Rahman.

WTF does what happened this year have to do with Vitali ducking Rahman in the past? Just because Rahman is no good doesnt mean that Vitali percieved him that way back then.

His political career didn't work out, I don't think he will want to fall back on his Ph.D credentials just yet. Boxing is what he has been doing most his life, I think he will definitely come back. What else he gonna do? watching his little bro steadily climb to the top will entice him to make a comeback of his own. I do however feel that there is potential for a career ending injury. All the luck to him, go for broke.

In my honest opinion, he is probably the only man on the planet who can beat Valuev.
