If you watch the fights between Cotto/Maussa and Hatton/Maussa, Cotto actually dominated Maussa in a much more impressive fashion than Hatton did. Hatton did KO him in devastating fashion, but his journey to the KO was nothing as pretty as Cotto's performance overall.

So PBF refuses to fight the top opposition, yet fights the weaker opposition to get a for sure win. He is the most talented, gifted fighter that I think I have ever seen, but he is also the biggest waste of talent that I have ever seen. He lacks entertainment value because he lacks courage, something that Cotto, Margarito, and even Hatton have way more of!

Mayweather would beat Hatton's ass at any weight.
Mayweather would beat Cotto at 147.
Mayweather would beat that hype train Margarito at 147

I actually think he can beat them, but the problem is fighting weaker opposition. The only one of these fighters that have been a top contender was Baldomir which was the Champ and was way overrated from day 1(which I have always said).

I am sure that PBF can beat anyone at 147 and below, but guess what.... he lacks courage, therefore he fights lesser opponents, and does not beat them in the way that he has potential too. He is a huge waste of talent!

The real ******* are the guys who are scared to put their signature on the contract like Hatton. Cotto has not even mentioned Mayweather's name. He knows better...

hatton is smaller then PBF, i see him as the only guy that can beat PBF, and i think he will if he gets the chance. But why would floyd fight the best out there?

hes duckin margarito even though margarito doesnt really deserve the fight. If floyd was a true champ, he would fight for his legacy like he says hes doing. Margarito would be the perfect guy.

Williams would kick Mayweathers sry ass in a few years. and depending on COTTOS performance at 147, he could manhandle Floyd!

sry, just sick of defending the guy.

Cotto beat Muassa 1st for your info. Hatton just finished the job after Cotto broke him down. By what im reading you are just focusing on the competiton against Cotto and Hatton. If it wasn't for Tszyu on Hattons resume we wouldn't even be talking about Hatton. I like Hatton but he seems to fight dirty.. Also got a gift decsion.. A nice guy and all.. Just don't like the way he fights at times.

I don't think Paul "No defense" Williams could beat Floyd. Margarito wouldn't be able to beat Floyd at 147. Cotto if he has the power may be able to do something, but he has to pressure Floyd all night, and I don't think he can.

so fighting a guy that hasnt earned the fight is adding to his legacy, his legacy will be better off fightin bums of the street and oscar

margarito is who the FANS want. And when u fight a guy that the fans like and u beat him, it improves ur legacy. at least more then beating baldomir, gatti, or judah...

the problem with that statement is that baldomir and judah were undisputed champions in that division, fans or no fans.
