anyone think Morales can revamp his style?

are there any fight fans that think Erik Morales can revamp/change his style and save his sliding career in this fight.

the reason i ask is, everyone seems to be so sure that Morales is going to be a push over in this fight. but when you look at his rival Barerra, Barerra at times in his career looked as if he should stop fighting, then he comes into the next fight totally changed and refreshed, and has a new career so to speak.

Barerra came back after losing to Jr.Jones twice, they said that he might be done then, he came back strong, then after losing to Erik, he came back strong after that beating Hamed and Morales, then after losing to Pacquiao they said he was finished he beats Morales again and beat Juarez twice(draw the first one) but everyone was expecting him to lose the last second fight and he showed another angle to his game.

the question here is does anyone think that Morales can do the same or is he really done?

i bring up Barerra because Morales and Barerra as very similar, and since Barerra has done it, does anyone think that Morales can?

a part of me thinks he can and is going to but, Manny is growing better in each fight, which will make it tougher to pull off.

    what do ya'll think?

I'm rooting for the Pacman but I don't see Morales being a push over on this third fight. Morales very well knows that his career depends on this fight so I figure he'll come out to win at all cost.

Don't get lost in the HYPES and the bettiing odds, comes fight time it's only the two of them inside the ring and nothing else counts.

Erik's state of mind will be the major factor for him winning or losing. The greatest setback he needs to overcome is the psychological stigma of facing the man who gave him his worse lost and beating in his whole career, again.

After reviewing the last Pacquiao fight, I think it's possible it was just the weigh drain that sapped his strength. From all indications, he's looking really good at the moment, so we'll find out this weekend for sure if he's on the slide or if it was just that he can't make 130 comfortably anymore. Supposedly, he had a weight trainer before he went into "training camp" for teh fight this time, unlike last time.

If I recall, weight was the main problem in his previous loss to Akim as well.

My point is this. If it was just a weight issue and the wars truly haven't caught up with him yet, he won't have to change his style to win.

i'm not believing any hype, i'm the last person to buy into hype, but when everyone and their mother is saying one thing about the fight overlooking another aspect of the fight, it makes me ask the question of can morales revamp his style?
and I know that morales isn't a push over by any means but the over confidence of people make me wonder(pac fans), ya know, does anyone realize that there is another dynamic to this fight?
weight was and is issue but as far as people saying that morales is going to get ko'd again, i find it hard to believe, i think he's going to be in better shape , mentally and physically, and is going to put on a better showing.

i'm riding the fence on this one because i like both fighters a lot and i don't want to see either man lose, but it's impossible for there to not be a loser. so i'm saying let the best man win.

i figure since Barerra changed up his **** and comes back strong can Morales do the same, i say yes, it's just going to be really difficult with Pac because Pac keeps getting better each fight.

i think morales is going to have to change his style a bit, mainly due to the fact that Pac is getting better and has more depth to his fight game verses the first time they fought. where Pac was all about the double right jab followed by the straight left, in their first fight Morales was able to see that coming and new how to combat that attack. also in their first fight Morales was backing up Pacquiao, Manny can't fight moving backwards, at least then. Manny is their second fight didn't move back as much and when he did he learned how to fight somewhat moving back, also added to Manny's arsenal was the right hook and the right hook to the body, Manny didn't have that in their first fight he just came forward comletely predictable and i think Morales thought that was going to be the case in their second fight, which it wasn't.

since that fight Manny has shown more depth to his game when he fought Larios, Manny showed better ring generalship as well and some lead left hands, and better balance. not to forget Pacquiao has gotten way more patient and doesn't waste as much energy and punches like he used too, he has become more economical with his punches.

with all that i think that Morales is going to have to have a different approach to this fight or he is heading into trouble thinking that Manny is the same dude that he fought in first fight.
what i'm saying there is i hope he just doesn't think that it was only his weight that cost him the fight, because it's more than just that.

i'm expecting a great fight and don't care who wins, i like both guys tremendously.

              may the best man win.
