I don't think he will be able to hurt Oscar at all.
I think your right 154 definately is advantage Oscar but does Floyd even care that the weight is 154, he still will be 147.

Sure Floyd wont be able to hurt Oscar but will he even intend to?

I will say this...if Floyd's speed is reduced to a point where he has to become Bernard Hopkins and throw one shot at a time he may be in for a very tough fight.

I still think Shane poses more trouble for Floyd.

I mean, if the Hopkins KO was genuine. Is it safe to say that it doesn't take much to hurt Oscar downstairs?
That is ridiculous, it's not like Hopkins is feather fisted by any means. Oscar also moved up and was fighting a tru middleweight. Floys has always lacked power and ther is no way Floyd hurts Oscar to the body or anywhere else for that matter. If Oscar catches him, Floyd better worry about gettin put on his ass.

It's possible...the liver is much like the muscle that controls your lungs called the diaphram...when someone gets "the wind knocked out of him" it's actually a punch or blow to the diaphram which becomes momentarily paralized...meaning..the person who got hit is unable to expand the lungs...unable to draw a breath...this can go for 10-30 seconds...can you imaging getting hit and unable to draw a breath for that long in the middle of a fight...you got no choice but to go down or at least take a knee and an 8 count...the liver is the same as in the paralisis thing...when the liver gets hit..and it has to be right on the button...the liver can momentarily shut down...not allowing the blood to pass though it...and it really hurts...have you ever been out jogging and you get a side pain...thats the liver being engorged with blood...imagine that pain X 50...thats a liver shot....ODH had no choice but to go down and unfortunately for him he just couldnt get back up due to the liver saying WTF! lol....

Your right Shane probably is faster than Oscar but I think Oscar is te better all around boxer and Oscar can beat you in many ways, He is also a very smart fighter and has a lot of experience that his been in all the marquee matches since very early in his career. Nothing Floyd does is gonna fluster Oscar, he has been there to many times. Oscar also can adjust during a fight and if one way isn't working can find another way. Floyd does have a speed advantage but Oscar still has an excellent jad and when he uses it to set up all his punches it is extremely effective. A good jab can offset speed and if Oscar can continually find Floyd with his jab I think he can cause problems for Floyd. I know people are gonna point to the Mosley fight when Shane had the speed but Oscar didn't try to use his jab he just tried to brawl with him. I think Oscar will be smarter against Floyd. If Floyd comes into that fight at 147 I think he will see the difference in weight and that Oscar will be the stronger mnan at 154. I think it will be a good fight, but I give Oscar the advantage at 154.

I wish they had the one where they show the replay from the other view.
I agree that Hopkins is waaaay stronger than Mayweather, though.
Hey Jackthe rippuh...I watched the video of The Ex and he threw 2 or 3 left hooks to the right side of Oscars body...that is where the liver sits...thats why we train righties who are fighting righties to thow that left hook to body as much as possible...you catch that liver just right....and its over....
