Morales wasn't hurt as it was his problem making the weight that knocked him out.

This is my problem with the whole fight, Eric can be coming in again fighting the weight and Manny, a big disadvantage.

I agree with that assesment, Morrales' energy and endurance was already taxed coming into the fight and Pacman wore him down. If Morrales can come into the fight healthy I'm positive he can win a UD.

I want Pac to win because a Pac-Barrera fight would be huge (and easy to make since they're both Golden Boy Promotions fighters).

HOWEVER, I think Morales will be in superb condition and if he fights like he did in the first fight he'll frustrate Manny all night long. Morales' condition let him down in the last fight and if he's the underdog in this fight I might lay a few c-notes on him because he's got the ability, chin, and conditioning (this time) to defeat Manny.

thats what i want to happen too, if manny beats morales, then its a no brainer that barrera will be next, and ill be honest, if manny cant fight barrera next then ill blame barrera and thats something i have never done, this time there can be no excuses from barreras part, a date has already been set (february or march) by HBO, and if manny wins, barrera needs to step up to the plate and take the rematch.

"Morales has the Boxing brain and the know how to out box Pacquaio he needs to use his reach advantage and his jab, His Jab is the most important weapon he has beacuse he can frustrate Manny with it and offset his game plan, If Manny gets inside however i think he will stop Erik within 8 and Morales comes to fight so i think this will be a great fight"

            Lennox Lewis
"Manny is in his prime now and we got to remember Erik is past his i think Erik is gonna be in terrific shape and he may out box Manny but i think the wars with Barrera have really started to tell, Manny turned it up in round 6 of the last fight and changed the course of it if he does that from the opening bell this time i think he tkos Morales in 6"

            James Toney
"No way in hell does Erik win this fight i respect him as a warrior and a fighter but thats gonna be his undoing beacuse hes ****** enough to take more punishment this is round 11 of fight 2,Manny is looking ready and raring to go and i think he stops Erik early he aint got the legs no more"

"I think People are really selling Morales short people seem to forget that he maybe 29 but he still is an outstanding boxer,Manny Pacquaio has the power which is always a major factor but Morales has the brain and more importantly the chin to withstand Pacquaio last time he was stopped on pure exhaustion, If he uses my fight with Jeff Lacy as a blueprint Morales will win"

            Barry McGuigan
"Manny will win this one i think by UD Morales is in much better condition so i dont think he will get stopped but i think the mexican warrior in him will want to prove a point he will neglect his boxing skills and brawl with Manny and theres only going to be one winner in that type of fight"

            and Thell Torrance
"Erik is using the cleto gloves and i think this has been overlooked as being a key factor in this bout,When Morales used those gloves in the first fight he hurt Manny countless times even doubling him up with a body shot i dont think Morales will wear out like last time i think he will mix outboxing Manny with some trading and i think this time Morales stops him"
LMAO he's STILL hung up on that fight like it was a great, great moment in boxing. Floyd Mayweather does that to opponents all the time, and Calzaghe thinks his was something different.

Mayweather hasn't put on a performance comparable to Calzaghe's since Corrales.

But it is hilarious that he can compare his fight to what Erik should do against Pacquiao, for starters, Jeff Lacy doesn't know what a straight left or right is, and secondly, Pacquaio is alot faster.

just proof that British fighters wait for one opportunity, win, and crawl into a shell, thinking they've done enough

How can you say that? He hasn't even retired yet.

You can't predict the future, and you don't know it all.

The fact that he's looking for a JT fight says enough.

If that Velocity training really pays off for erik, he wins easily. He got the better skills and can do more. Pacman can only throw punches and look for KO. If Erik Stamina is on par, it's over for da pacman!

What about his blueprints for the other 41 bums/oldguys he fought?
I wonder if Morales would be well off using those.
