I'm pretty sure losing hasn't entered his mind, it's just not how he works. You can call him delusional, but when you're that talented, it's hard not to be supremely confident.

I think it will be a good fight, and no way can I pick a winner at this point, but Mayweather is saying it's his last fight because he's sure he'll win and have no other mega fights to move on to afterward.

Think about it, who would be next? Anyone after Oscar, including Mosley, is a massive letdown for both himself and the boxing public. This is going out on top, at least in the eyes of public perception.

Ricky Hatton ducked Mayweather for over 2 years and now you're calling out for this fight? Ricky even said he was not ready to fight Floyd yet so the fight was never made. Then he demanded 30 Million to fight him, Mayweather isn't even making that much to fight Oscar, the golden goose of boxing. Hell, Oscar might not even make that much.

Anyway, I think Mayweather is serious. His ego gets more and more bruised as he fights because people critique one thing or another and he gets all bent out of shape because he thinks he's perfect and God's gift to boxing.

But Hatton didnt know PBF would be looking for a way out by retiring! If he did realize PBF was like that, Hatton might have fought him even if he wasnt ready, and might have asked for less, if Hatton did ask for that much.
As i say you better not be retiring Mayweather. Do you hear me. Are you listening to me Mayweather? Dont let you and Hatton be on a fantasy fight forum about who would have won? You guyz are of the same era. Your not Ali and Bruce Lee! Your not SRR and SRL! Your not Marciano v Tyson!
You have no excuses. Forget what happened in the past with negotiations with Hatton. He had 2 defences lined up, but you know he is free afterwards. So dont chicken out. If you retire that is what people know yoiu will be doing.

Mayweather is saying that it's his last fight so he can have the 'big' comeback fight. No way is it his last fight. This is all marketing.
