He did a great job of getting under Lyakhovich's skin and yes even intimidating Lyakhovich prior to their fight and look how it turned out. Lyakhovich was scared to get inside on Briggs and Briggs took advantage of that by KO'ing Lyakhovich.

its all about marketing people, i mean look at ali and mayweather actually forget the mayweather part because he just cant sell tickets regardless the loser wife beater. But take it from the trash talkers they always attract attention and get more viewers for the fight because of their trash talk, it's good to have one around again we havent had a real good one in a long time.

I think any heavyweight would get a little intimidated when Briggs is in your face barking about how he's going to take your head off. wish Brewster had a mouth on him. Liakhovich would have knocked himself out before that fight.
