Barrios fought Mighty Mike? I don't think he did.

No he haven't fought "la hiena" Barrios. Mike has look impressive lately but I still rememeber who bad Santa Cruz make him look. I believe that Torres has one punch KO power and will KO Mike before the 7rnd. Mike will get if he trades punches with Torres.

Cotto by far is better than anyone that Mike has faced. He also showed that he belonged in the same ring as Cotto by giving him hell & I bet he learned alot from that fight.Mike should be able to box him him but all it takes is one punch from Torres to change things around which he's more than capable of doing.

I like Torres, he's an exciting fighter but I think he's a bit overrated. Yes he hurt a weight drained Cotto twice, so what, so did Corley. The fact that Cotto used the worst possible strategy against Torres made Torres look good in that fight. Lets not forget also Cotto had no problems whatsoever outboxing Torres and that he dropped Torres 4 times in the fight. I've seen Torres fight twice, once live, and he waits for you to trade with him before he unloads, he doesn't know how to box and doesn't know how to let those bombs go behind the jab. Mike's gonna make him look like an amateur.

Cotto weight drained; maybe but I don't think so. Yes he has to drop alot of weight but he still made it & looked fresh when they fought. Torres was the one ill prepared for the fight as a late sub coming in. The fight wasn't as lopsided as you make it out to be. It was a competitive fight even though Torres went down a few times. When he landed on Cotto he hurt him. The Corley fight; that's a totally different fight in that Corley's a counter puncher & he caught Cotto with a counter right to the temple & wobbled the hell out of him. Torres caught him on the chin & had him hurt 2 or times very bad.

We are talking about two different Santa Cruz.

One is Roberto who make Mike look bad.

The other is Jose Armando who fought Cherry.

Yeah, you're right. I got confused for a second and was thinking of Mike Anchondo, not Arnautis. I still think that Torres, a well-trained and well-prepared Torres, beats anyone at 140 except for Ricky Hatton and a well-trained and well prepared Augustus.

                      Barrios fought "Mighty" Mike Anchondo.

Nickname creativity is not a requirement of boxing promoters, unfortunately.

Will be nice to see what Torres is like with a full camp behind him. Illegitimate title, but two good fighters who should be in line to make some noise whoever wins.
