    Nothing beats a 12th round KO in a close fight (Freitas-Barrios, Vargas-Trinidad)

What about late round ko after domination? [bhop trinidad].

My vote is for late round ko in a close fight.

those are prime examples of my choice as well.

nothing IMO better than two fighters fighting tooth and nail over 10-12 rounds and one getting stopped towards the end of a brutal war.

We're not talking about which fight is the most exciting to watch...

We're taking about the winner getting the most glory...

i figured some1 would correct me on that.

i still think that one is the glorious way to win.

a 1st round KO is frequently anti-climactic. a one sided decision puts ur opponents skills into question and demeans ur victory. and an upset KO is far more glorious than an upset decision because theres no questioning a KO..... usually.

a KO at the end of a war shows you and ur opponent have heart, skill, stamina, and can both hang tough. its not only good for you, its good for ur competition.

Of course an UPSET decision ( a knockout )..... Didn't they glorify Pac when he upset Barerra?(could also qualify as Dominating performance followed by a late round KO) How 'bout Carlos Baldomir over Zab Judah? How 'bout Glen Johnson and/or Tarver over Roy?(early knockouts).....Do u remember the Ali-Foreman where Ali cemented his place in boxings' elites and greats.....? These fights brought the winner tremendous acclaimation didn't they? Ill go for the upsets (decision or knockout whichever u prefer).

                    I voted 1st round K.O.

Hypothetically if DLH would have knocked Mayorga out in the first round with the left hook he dropped him with......he would have been praised even more.

It's a rarity to see a first round knockout, and just by demoralizing and outclassing Mayorga.....that didin't make it glorious.

Knocking a guy out in the first round like Tua did Ruiz is where it's at.

An undefeated boxer puncher gets cornered like a Leopard v.s. Gazelle.
