I believe he is in action this week in Nicaragua in what they are calling the Mayorga 500...apparently he is attempting to have 500 women **** him to break the record held by his close friend Julio Ceasar Green who in 1994 was ****ed by 438 women.

Mayorga was asked what it would mean to break such a prestigous record, "it would mean alot" said Mayorga

    Good Luck Mayo!

Those ****ty boxing skills, as you call them, ko'd a few fighters and beat Forest who beat Mosley twice. Stewards impression that Mayorga fights like an amature is a shamless statement. Nobody seemed to call Foreman an amature looking fighter when he was koing fighters. Look at young Foreman and look at Mayorga.

A guy can have power without having boxing skills...

Mayorga wasn't bad at welterweight, but he really turned to **** after he was making good money...

Ex-champion Mayorga suspended for failing drug test

          By KEVIN IOLE
          REVIEW-JOURNAL
Former super welterweight champion Ricardo Mayorga won't box again until at least 2007 after the Nevada Athletic Commission voted unanimously Wednesday to suspend him for the rest of the year for violating its substance abuse policy.

Mayorga, who also was fined $50,000, had a positive urinalysis for the diuretic furosemide, also known as Lasix, after his May 6 loss to Oscar De La Hoya at the MGM Grand.

Mayorga admitted taking the substance but asked for leniency because he said he didn't know it was illegal. His attorney, Tony Gonzalez of Miami, said Mayorga received the Lasix at a pharmacy in his hometown of Managua, Nicaragua.

Commission executive director Keith Kizer said Mayorga failed to tell a commission doctor that he had taken Lasix when he underwent his pre-fight physical May 5.

Gonzalez said Mayorga didn't think he needed to disclose it, but Kizer found that argument dubious.

"Mr. Mayorga is claiming he took this drug so he could make weight for a fight with Oscar De La Hoya," Kizer said. "(He said it) was strictly boxing related, but without taking it, there might not have been a fight, a la (Jose Luis) Castillo-(Diego) Corrales. Yet, he didn't even think of telling our doctors about it.

"I'll say it again: (That speaks) volumes."

Gonzalez went to great lengths to argue that Lasix is not a performance enhancer and asked that the commission provide a list of banned substances for boxers.

Instead of listing banned substances, the commission provides boxers with a list of approved substances.

"You have to keep in perspective that this drug is not a steroid, it's not a heroin, it's not a *******, it's not a marijuana," Gonzalez said. "We're not dealing with something that is an illegal substance."

Gonzalez pleaded for a short suspension and asked the commission not to jeopardize Mayorga's career. That appeared to anger commissioner T.J. Day, who proposed the $50,000 fine.

"We need to send a message out that if you screw with us, you're out of here," Day said.

The commission also appointed Las Vegan Jay Nady as the referee for the Aug. 12 WBC heavyweight title fight between champion Hasim Rahman and Oleg Maskaev at the Thomas & Mack Center. Jerry Roth, Glenn Trowbridge and Anek Hongtongkam were named judges

what do you know man ?
although mostly a brawler...he can actually box a little with some defence. His bravado gets the best of him though and prefers the open exchanges.
