I would hope Cotto could beat both, but we will see how strong he is at 147. If he is a lot stronger than he was at 140, I could see Cotto cleaning out the division. IF ONLY THAT CHIN WAS BETTER! But maybe it will be stronger at 47 too like Corrales' was at 135.

it will be great PPV for boxing.

three PR boxer in WW fighting each other one beating the other i think there will be 3 fights with eah other against each other or at least rematch.

but as from one of Cotto interview i dont know i think he should find a better promoting company it looks like they controling him and they are calling the shots.

Quat. is a bit unknowen that much and is willing to fight the best from the first he got famous. I think he he win convicing against Cotto he would call out Mayweather too, you know how it marketable it is but if many are callinh out it looks like a silly game.

Cotto would probly win Collazo,i dont know about Quintana,i think Quintana can pull it off,if Cotto wins, hes done something special

Imagine Quintana vs Collazo,2 fast slick southpaws who also love 2 fight,it would be a great fight

And Quintana struggles with power, as he was KDed in the first round from Julios first power shot

Cotto is a very good inside fighter and is good at making his opponents fight his fight.

Collazo however, has a great inside and outside game.

I think Cotto will impress a lot of people by showing how well he can handle a very solid boxer, with some unorthadox, awkward areas.

Cotto-Collazo would be a very good fight, and i really wanna get tickets for that fight if it happens. cause COTTO already has a date for the garden

collazo can be hit and he has no power..and cotto has power and would eat collazo up..quintana on the other hand moves alot and will give cotto trouble

callazo is more accurate. and faster hands it seems. and the kid can take a punch to the body and to the head. And he doesnt have much power, but he can still punch. I believe that any fighter can hurt any fighter.

The only way i see Quintana dominating a fight against cotto is if cotto has problems with QUintana's awkwardness and freaky jab. But im counting on the fact that he'll figure Quintana out by the 4th round.

I could see Quintana eeking out a win, but in my mind, i see Collozo winning this fight easier

Julio was Quintana's first big fight, and the first one against a halfway decent opponent. We'll see how he handles himself against the pressure of fighting in the main event of a big card on Showtime.

Cotto's been in big fights and has withstood the pressure of main events in many places. He's also fought better opposition. I do hesitate to call it an easy fight for Cotto because it's his first fight at welterweight and we don't know if he'll carry his power or if he'll be able to take the punches well.

As far as Collazo goes, I am not interested in that fight. There are other fights out there for Cotto if he gets by Quintana and he'd have to fight Urkal as his mandatory. I see Cotto fighting Urkal in June (PR parade in NY weekend) and then fighting Gatti, the winner of Margarito/Williams (if Margo gets by Clottey), Baldi, Judah, or maybe even Hatton. They are all bigger fights than fighting Collazo and all bring more money to the table (especially since it opens up to more than one market, the Puerto Ricans)

Cotto stated that the Urkal fight is already signed and that it may happen in march. Then there is the June dated at MSG which may be agaisnt Tony, Collazo or Gatti.

collazo will get eaten up like he did when he fought hatton right.
yeah ok, no one thought collazo would last those 12 rounds with hatton, he impressed a lot of people. he has a nice inside and outside game.
cotto will beat quintana then hopefully MSG will host a great fight in Cotto Vs. Collazo. A true puerto rican against a ny rican. the ny fans would love that

Collazo looks the bigger man. I will have to go with Collazo. We will have to wait to see how Cotto performs at 147 first, before deciding. But with Cotto having never fought at 147, I would go bet on Collazo.
