I made a thread a couple years ago when he fought Golata giving him props, and a bunch of haters and trolls came out the woodworks calling for my head. I suggest you head for the border ese before they come for your throat.

I agree that he is the least aesthetically pleasing heavyweight I've seen since Scott Ledoux, but that he does what he has to do to win. Damn, the early 00s saw some terrible heavyweights. I recall when we had Ruiz and Byrd as titlists, that was a tough time for the division.

Ruiz has balls and will fight anyone not named David Tua. He's limited and he preys on the mentally weaker fighters that have significantly better talent than him. That's where he's carved out his success. Guys like Oquendo, Kirk Johnson, Hasim Rahman, they were all supposed to beat Ruiz but didn't. Why? Because Ruiz doesn't give a **** about looking bad.

Ill give Jawwny boy some credit.. Its true he never ducks anyone.. he may be boring but it seems to work for him.. He does have courage.. He also has the most Unfitting nickname in boxing.. He is self obsessed loudmouth and CRY baby.. He did get ripped off in the Valuev fight.. but its hard to feel sorry for him.. the man has had more gifts than 13 year old ***ish kid at his bar mitzvah
