I heard a few months ago that Israel Vasquez turned down a fight with Rocky for this November. And instead they will fight next year. But i talked to alapha, a poster here and he said that fight may not happen.

Also i heard Rocky say he will fight anybody 126 or 130, he said he can still make the featherweight division and he'd go back for a title shot. I want to see him again with Soto, that was a good fight, close fight too.

I think so, but, its only going to get tougher for him, what i mean is he has to change up his style just little bit, he doesn't have to redue his whole style. In the amatures where i first seen him, he could cut off the ring on his opponets and throw some really nice combination to the body and head. I think he will be Champion, but its not going to be easy, their a lot of good fighters at 130 and at 126. Tons of potental great fights in these weight classes. And he always has problems with boxers, gots to get better at cutting off the ring and i don't want to say he needs a new trainer but he needs to make changes in his style and training habits. I think he may not be getting the right sparring. He makes for exciting fights, one thing about him you can never count him out of a fight, cause he has the one punch ko power.

yeh i know what u mean, his style can be worked around pretty easily by any boxer with abit of quality about him,but like u said, that can be changed,i think he got a lesson from barerra and he prolli knows he should box that little bit more,he has massive power in both hands if he was tweaked and tuned a little bit he would be a great fighter.i love watchin him fight

What about a POTENTIAL FIGHT with JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ? What are the implications in and out of the ring?

Boxers are no good for Rocky. Untill he's willing to take more damage and/or cut off the ring or just let his hands go in combinations like he used to. Rocky has problems with fighters that box him, but is more comfortable with fighters that are willing to brawl with him.

But do u think its possible that a fight may indeed happen considering that both guys needs a win over marquee fighters to maintain their status as members of the upper echelons of fighters in 126-130 lbs?
