What happened to The Ring belt?

I haven't heard of any fighters coming in or being announced as "The Ring" champion of divison type of deal. Did they do away with it or something? I think all you needed was the ring belt and it meant more than any other belt in the world. It's the people who should decide whose the champion of the division. Not all these side players who make terrible matchups and give guys that don't deserve to be called champions a "champion" belt.

Yes, though I'd take The Ring belt over alphabet titles anyday. They recognize the true champ of the division. If more people respected The Ring, they'd also see how much more it holds when it's more like the people have decided who the real champ is.

That's BS the ring belt is the most historical prize in boxing other than being lineal undisputed champion.

I've used a couple of Ring magazine to straighten up a folded poster.
