We all know he and his brother would never fight each other. This means the title would remain fractured for a long as both were active. Now I want a unified heavyweight champion more than anything in boxing, and both brothers being active (being the two best heavyweights, hands down) would mean this would not happen for years. Don't get me wrong, Vitali was my favorite heavyweight post Lewis but he and Wlad sharing the belts would not do it for me. I'd rather have one person a unified champion, even be it Briggs (through a series of fluke wins no doubt) than have it remained split for an indefinite amount of time.
It's a good thing Vitali Klitschko retired. Here's why.
