before i start let me tell you all that i hate oscar and always have-so this is from the point of view of someone that is not a fan (i have stated many times why i was not a fan and wont do it again)
-first of it didnt live up to hype..but i got a dlh that was in better shape and carried fight for first 4 rounds..then after that he started fading a little and hopkins started figuring him out more..getting in on him more to finally land that body shot(i mean how amzing..the way to ko dlh was never the chin it was the body-its like finding out who the killer in scream was for the first time)...now this bring me to the point...i respected dlh so much after the first 4 rounds that he even made me worried that he was gonna win...no thats impressive
i mean dlh held is own..hopkins unitl late started dominating..it was great to see oscar with that heart and will and respect the man so much...so now that i have paid my respect lets me go to point 2
when oscar fell larry-jim lampley and all the other where quite..they saw the man that was what hbo charishes and loves, fall...and they were into it but quite right after...if it would have been oscar who dropped hopkins..larry and jim would have cummed on themselfs with excitment..and so when hopkins dropped dlh it made dlh to all the nuthugger-fans (there a differnce trust me between a fan and a nuthugger)-and people who respected him...look like just another normal fighter...for the first time dlh looked normal and it was almost sad to see him on the floor like that..but either way a lot of respect to both fighters
loved:hearing nothin from jim and larry and the rest of the hbo crew quite after the ko.../

great:to see hopkins but the exclamation point on his legacy
