I agree he's small for 154. 147, I think he could do well(which he has).

I think Floyd's best weight combined of quickness and power is 140. I think no one would really have a good chance at beating him at 140.

Agreed, he's a Solid 140lb'r, but he's NOT too small for 147. There have been many fighters equal in size or smaller than Floyd who have found success at 147 and gone on to become Welterweight Champions. Buddy McGirt, Pernell Whitaker, Meldrick Taylor, Shane Mosley, Zab Judah, Miguel Cotto, Andre Berto quickly come to mind, and I'm sure there are plenty more. Why should Floyd be considered "Too Small", why should he be the exceptions. Is he fuckin' special or something? Floyd is NOT too small for 147. Juan Manuel Marquez IS too small for Welter.

Dude, all those guys were fighting eachother. Its not like they were fighting WW's when SRL & Hearns were there. You think Floyd would be worried aobut fighting Buddy McGirt. HIs size is nothing like the WW's of today. Sweet Pea is different. He's just like Spinks. With those type of guys size doesnt matter because they can basicaly just move and jab all fight. Like how Byrd can go to WW. Most fighters dont fight like that

Ive said the same thing for a long time now and Ive been saying it. Look at my threads. I think he can still go down in weight easily but I dont think he wants to because he's eventauly going to fight the big WW's and I think he feels that it will hurt him. Thats how I feel. I think if he goes down to 140 to fight Pac & JMM and then goes back to WW then he may come into the ring at 148 pounds again while Cotto is 162 or higher. You think thats ok?

If that's his accurate walk around weight and he can get to 135, why when he needs the money did he choose to come in above the JMM catch weight and lose loadsa money?
