    Just watched Floyd - Baldomir

for the first time. Few thoughts...

It was funny too see Floyd fight. Floyd and Oscar both say "one more fight". Hmm....I wonder what that means. LOL. Floyd is really trying to entice Oscar into a mega fight. I don't think Oscar will take it because he doesn't have a chance. He is a smart businessman and will get in there with a limited, slower opponent. Mark my words.

    Anyway...about the fight:
HBO was really, really biased. The first 4 rounds were pretty close. I had Mayweather winning 3 and baldomir winning 1 in that period. I had Baldomir winning 3 rounds total and winning the 12th round which makes 3 rounds in total.

Baldomir is also so god damn limited and telegraphs his punches like no other. he has absolutely no dimensions to his game. he is a limited swarmer. It's the same thing every time which is basically why Mayweather picked him off and figured him out with ease. A fight with Hatton would be much different because he varies up his attacks and uses angles. Baldomir also cannot fight in clinches and we all know Hatton can when he holds the left hand and just chops to the body.

And the refereeing was pretty bad. Nady never warned Mayweather even once about his forearms to the face in clinches either. What is up with that garbage?

    Good things about Mayweather:
I was impressed as hell with his footspeed. The dude is in and out so quick it is insane. He finally impressed me and he showed he can take on legit 147 fighters. Margarito would be a much tougher nut to crack but I think floyd would eventually outpoint the mexican super hero . he would be much too fast for cintron and i think he would stop him late. i do think cintron's size would be able to confuse mayweather for a few rounds but mayweather would figure him out pretty easily.

    anyway thats it...discuss foo's.

The fight was entertaining for me up until the 8th round. That's when it made it harder to watch and i was flicking between calgary - vancouver and UFC.
