Heck of a fighter, probably should've unified the belt and fought Pinklon Thomas and Greg Page.

            left hook yes, jab no.

Holmes had trouble against right hands and Ali had a great right.

ali had trouble with jimmy young and ken norton.. because when ali can can control you with his jab it throws his rythm off.... i just watched the holmes tyson fight ... and holmes spinks.... and holmes mercer.. i think holmes was the berst heavyweight ever....the has never been another fighter like him he was the best complete fighter i ever saw from a techincal standpoint..

He had trouble with Norton because of Nortons so called "aggressive counter punching" style. Liston had arguably the best jab ever and his gave Ali no problems.
And obviously if you think Holmes is the best ever then your not going to be reasonable on this so I'm going to stop now.

you have to understand i never thought that untill today ive been studying styles from shavers to mayweather to toney to kostya , to hagler... hopkins everybody.. holmes is a very natural hard crisp punching boxer and no style is more complete... liston was also slow footed compared to ali ...

How can Holmes be the most complte fighter ever when has a weakness to the right hand? A weakness against the most commonly used power puncher removes him from the top ranking complete fighters.
