Fight of the year until now

I would like to now what is for you the fight of the year until now for you?
for me with out a doubt it's mahyar monshipour Vs. somsak sithchatchawal. but i don't think it will recognized for FOTY 2006 because mahyar monshipour is a big name in france where i live but not so big in the U.S

I totally agree that this has to be the clear front-runner for FOTY. The only excuse for not voting it as FOTY is that it didn't involve marquee names. But to me that is not a valid criteria when evaluating FOTY. It doesn't matter, who, when, where etc. simply has to be a great fight.

It's between that and the Moore/Macklin fight.

I'm thinking maybe Taylor vs. Wright, Toney vs. Peter was very exciting as well. Briggs Adamek 2 was also action filled. There were a lot of good fights that I didn't mention but those were some of my favorites.

Off the top of the head:

                    Briggs/Adamek 2
                    Pac/Morales 2
                    Brewster/Laikovich
                    Estrada/Cintron

Those stick out to me. I think Brewster/Laikovich was probably the best one considering they were heavies fighting at that pace.
