    Evender Holyfield...

If he wins and he has to WIN BIG, I thinks he can land a title shot with one of the titleholders as a voluntary defense as that fight will generate a lot of money and would definitely be a PPV event

I think his options are in this order..

    Best Choice - Maskaev
    Runner Up - Briggs
Third - Cruise to a UD with Valuev
Options stop there.. As I cannot see him even having a chance with Wlad

Anyone thinks he can pull it off tomorrow? I don't

BTW, I forgot to mention that both Maskaev and Briggs will have to fight a mandatory..

And Holyfield is not getting any younger.. it's a shame that his plan to become a HW champion is such a fantasy...

Hope he loses the fight tomorrow night

i think he can pull it off but it will be tough, i dont think he would fight briggs though due to the fact the other belts are held by europeans and such so you know they are not going to face 2 americans against one another until we get the belts back so i'm thinking oleg or valuev no way he would go against klit especially if he wants a win.

Oquendo versus Holyfield is not something that I would pay to see. There are often better fights for free on ESPN Friday Night Fights, not even mentioning free fights on HBO.

The only current champion that I could see Holyfield possibly beating is Oleg Maskaev. That would be an easier fight than Oquendo. He is going to lose to Oquendo though. Oquendo is a horrible choice in terms of a style matchup, because Fres has very good handspeed for a heavyweight. I really don't think that Holyfield will win a round. Remember how he looked against Byrd and Donald? Two mobile guys with handspeed that made him look terrible and beat him easily.

Personally, I don't think Holyfield should be allowed anywhere near a ring, let alone a title shot. Holyfield is about as worn out as a 45 year old career **********. Anyone who was in the fight of his life every time out from 1988 on should not be still fighting. They should've medically suspended him permanently from the Donald fight, probably even the Toney fight to be honest. He's given us a great run, with his 8 losses not telling the proper story about his career. I hate to say this because he's meant so much to the sport, but give him a couple of years out of the ring and he will be like Jerry Quarrey.

Fres Oquendo has way too much for Holyfield at this stage in his career.
