    Harrison-Cook Fight is Officially Scrapped

WBO World Featherweight Champion Scott Harrison will be unable to defend his title against Nicky Cook on December 9 after failing to secure his release from a Spanish prison, promoter Frank Warren has confirmed today. However fight fans shouldn't be too disappointed, as Harrison will be replaced on the huge ExCel Centre card by one of the world's hardest punchers, WBO World Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Maccarinelli. Enzo'll probably attract the more casual fans anyway. A terrestial audience won't have a clue why a Jock is going into the ring as a middleweight saying he's a featherweight, but they've seen Enzo twice at prime time.

Bit of a bugger for Nicky Cook, he seemed pretty much on the way to a WBC title fight before he signed to fight Harrison.
