    The future of 147

Its a given that Mayweather is done at 147. If he retires or fights again, we know its not at 147. It will be at 154 verses Mosley/Spinks and De La Hoya. With that said, who is now the champ at 147? Who is up and coming?

    My thoughts are:

Champ - Cintron or Margarito (at least until he faces Williams)
Up and coming - Paul Williams and Demetrius Hopkins (Hopkins has been quite lately)

Paul Williams most definetly. And corrales will be comin up, he wont be able to make 140 soon enough, and he may just jump to 147.

I think he could be a champ there. And same thing with Castillo. Its time these guys get involved in the big money division

Yeah Williams needs a shot at a tittle soon, Talent wise i'd put Demitrius infront of williams.

I dont think its a given he's DONE at 147....

if he doesnt retire like he says he will, he may go back and fight some more at 147, where he's comfortable and not taking risks.....

he smart, so he not gonna make ****** decisions... he may take a fight or to at 154.. but he aint gonna stay up there

Let's just ignore PBF - too annoying.
Hopefully get Mosley in the mix, & have him fight Margarito for the top of the division, with Williams, Hopkins, & Castillo fighting it for number 2, with lots of mixes & matches.
Think Corralles is shot, but should provide a name anyway for some exposure, & don't think Hatton would risk going up against these guys (too big, too good + he already ducked Urkal as too tricky).
Oktay Urkal will be a good acid test, & may well pick up a title if the likes of Hopkins & Castillo aren't up to scratch (pretty sure he's fighting for Hattons' vacated title).

Just as long as they start fighting each other I'll be happy.
