The guy was in a league of his own.

He wasn't unbeatable, I'd take Nunn over him every time, McClellan and Jones would of been awesome, and Benn would of been a tough one. And Eubank I think was wrong for him.

But man, Jones was on his own as far as catching your breath.

pitching a near shut out against toney is up there....

not getting hit for an entire round against paz and than finishing paz they way he did was also very impressive.

for me though, the griffin revenge fight is the best.... after all that was going on between both camps and roy came out like that was insane...

best KO was against virgil hill... that body shot was brutal

The second griffen fight for sure and maybe even the Bryant Brannon fight. When he fought Brannon he had played a pro basketball game just before the fight, on the same day. Then Brannon bull rushed him right at the begining and threw over 100 punches in 30 seconds. Jone covered up and waited after the rush he floored Brannon twice and stopped him in the 2nd. Before flooring him he turned to the ref and said hey should'nt you stop this the ref just looked at him so Roy took him out. Roy landed a 7 left hook combo in that fight and still to this day I have'nt seen it done. He did all this while knowing his whole purse was being donated to charity.

He had quite a few but my pick would have to be the rematch with Griffin.

Lucas who? Eric is that who you mean? I don't think they fought. I tryed to look on boxrec but for some reason they don't have Roy Jones on boxrec.

3 of RJJ best fights IMO were

Vinny Pazienza , Richard Hall and David Telesco.

Vinny Paz, Toney, And Griffin II are some of my favorites.

When it comes to knockouts, his right hand against Art Serwano was one of his most vicious. It was scary to watch Serwano's eyes roll back into his head like that after hitting the canvas.
