Miranda Promises To Impress on HBO

HOLLYWOOD, FL – Not content to rest on his laurels and take the rest of 2006 off after a spectacular (yet ultimately controversial) performance against IBF belt-holder Arthur Abraham in September, Edison ‘Pantera’ Miranda, the uncrowned middleweight champion will finish off the year by taking on rugged contender Willie Gibbs on Saturday, December 16th. I'll be shocked if Miranda doesn't look great. He got the right opponent for it. And yes he should of got the win against Abraham

Gibbs will not prepare miranda for a pissed off arthur abraham. That is the most biased article i have ever seen, the warriors team do not have a single brain cell between them. As for miranda taunting Abraham, does he really think he will get the same two lucky punches in when they fight again???

I think the fight against Abraham should have been stopped, but Abraham cleary won more rounds than Miranda. Might be different in a rematch, Abraham will never be the same after a broken jaw.

I hope Miranda is not looking past Gibbs. It should be an easy fight for him, but Gibbs may not be a pushover!

If all goes like it should, and Miranda/Abraham II actually happens, I just hope it happens here in America. It's gotta be more neutral and fairly refed/judged than the BS that happen with Sauerland throwing the party!
