I knew people would not give this man his credit, heck even stewart and merchant were hating on him. Baldomir was the recognized champion, not Margarito, not Cintron, not Hatton. He beat the recognized champion and folks still find something wrong.

    I kind of agree.
The fight wasn't exciting but I think some people are going overboard.

He shows he's human against Zab, he gets criticized.
He pitches a shutout against Baldomir, he gets criticized.

I say **** what they say, he's the best of the best.

he did what ever he wanted in the fight even backed baldy down a few times (which these haters said wasn't possible) and won every second of the fight so it baffles me how people can hate on that even stewart. the guy (baldy) was over the mw limit and they still expected floyd to go and ko him. bottom line is people will always hate on the top dog in any sport, it's sad but true.

I don't give him much credit in beating Baldomir because it was a calculated step. We all knew he'd fight Baldomir, and all of us, well, those of us with brains, knew that the outcome would be a shutout.

With that said I also never gave Baldomir much credit either, I knew he was a one-trick fighter who capitalized on his shot at stardom and would quickly fade away into obscurity.

I'd give Floyd more credit if he fought higher-risk opponets. For instance fighting the winner of Hatton/Castillo, fighting Margarito if he gets past Clottey, taking on the winner of Quintana/Cotto(which will be Quintana), Paul Williams, etc...

I don't discredit Floyd as a fighter, as a fighter he's hands down the best to lace up a pair of boots in this generation. I discredit him as a champion because he's not been much of one thus far if you ask me.

Emanuel Stewart and Merchant need to be put in an Old Folks home. Merchant is just a bitter old man and Emmanuel contradicts himself all the time. I almost died of Laughter when he said he would like to see Cintron in the ring with Floyd. Cintron would get his **** pushed in and Ste***** old ass knows it, hatin ass old folks.

everybody knew pbf was gonna win and win big.... look at the prefight predictions and the odds on the fight... people are sick of seeing pbf against guys that have no chance of beating him, especially when their are 5-6 guys out there that have a real possible chance to beat him... baldy was the champ, but everyone knew he had no chance to win...

Stewart was just mad cuz he's said he's the best ever... That's how old guys are when it comes to people saying they are better than people that have done it before them.

I'm not hating on him but come on how impressive is this like we didn't know this is exactly what was gonna happen.Realstically Baldy never had a real chance and Floyd did exactly what he was expected to do. Baldy was slow, flat footed and an older fighter. He wasn't a bum but not A class opposition by any means. He was a glorified journeyman at best that had his fifteen minutes of fame. Baldy was no slouch just not elite competiton and thats the truth

People are hating him because he says hes the best but then talks of retirement so he doesnt have to fight the people who think they are better than him.
