big up shannon boogie down briggs at last entertainment in the heavy weights....them russian fighters are boring as f.... and are spoilers that scruffy muffled fighting style always wanting to win on pionts i cant stand it...i dont care what kind of fight it was on saturday main thing he knocked his ass out if the russian won they would have said what a great fight even though the russian was champion they still try and put it on briggs...no the russian should have done his **** if hes the champion briggs lived up to his part of the deal and won thats the main thing

i think it was a case of him getting his foot in the door and not wanting to blow his chance of getting paid...lennox lewis done the same thing with holyfeild

yeah briggs is easy to hit but hes got a powerful fast counter left hook... and wlad will be scared of briggs because hes a harder puncher than brewster... ask lyko

briggs hands arent that fast anymore. he does have good power tho and can hurt wlad if he lands but wlad will tie him up on the inside and probably wont give him a chance to land. plus briggs chin isnt very good either and I just think wlad would really punish him from the outside, interesting matchup though

not sure how on earth you can call the russians boring after watching briggs. my god,,he made even tua look exciting. if I didnt already know about that 12th round I'd have either turned it off or fell asleep by the 5th

The biggest problem I saw with Lyakhovich on Saturday was his lack of reach compared to Briggs's. Lyakhovich could not get inside and his punches kept falling short of their mark. Briggs did a decent job of countering Lyakhovich on most occasions which made it difficult for Sergei. If Lyakhovich's reach was just three more inches he might have had a chance at KO'ing or just out punching Briggs.

Klitschko would have knocked out either one of those bums out the first round. Lord knows I am not a Klitschko nuthugger, but nobody can say he doesn't come prepared to fight.

I agree as far as serg goes. I always said he was overrated. he got his name off one big win over an out of shape, up and down brewster. serg was knocked out by mo harris among all people. that should have sent off alarm bells. still,,,I thought hed beat briggs,,but he was even worse than I thought he was

Sergei was in worse shape than Briggs, as in fighting at less of his potential. No matter how Briggs trains, his stamina sucks because he's a roided meathead, we all know that, but Sergei showed good stamina in the Brewster fight while throwing more punches per round than he did on Saturday. His stamina was NOT there this weekend, nor was his desire to mix it up or even fight at all for that matter. Briggs was about 40% in that fight while Sergei was maybe 20-25%. Both were in ****ty shape but Sergei was just terrible, especially psychologically. He had no confidence whatsoever. He beat himself as much as Briggs did.
